Day 4/Day 6: The Final Day
Welcome back!
It’s Day 4 of reporting but Day 6 of the experiment due to the weekend.
We have decided that this will be our final day of the egg experiment because the egg shell has almost completely disappeared and we don’t think much else is going to happen.
We still want to see if anything else does happen, so we have decided to report on the blog in one week’s time.
On to today’s observations:
* there is a foul odour emanating the experiment
* there are hardly any bubbles inside the experiment
* at least half the egg shell is missing
* the top of the egg is hard – it has also at times not been covered by vinegar
* there is a white substance stuck to the inside of the glass.

Well how many of you will not be eating eggs for a while????? It must have been a lovely way to start of the week with such a pleasant odour!!! Keep enjoying experimenting and I look forward to reading what will happen in a weeks time.

Hi S3K,
Comment byWow, that is one great experiment. You’ll need alot of air freshener to make your classroom smell nice.
Was the experiment exciting?
Did you enjoy it?

Well Funsters
Comment byDo you think that your egg will bounce now? Are you game to try to bounce your egg?
It has been over a week – has anything else happened?
We might need to use this report of your experiment to help us complete the Science Challenge!
